NCAA Football 09: Cram SessionShawn Drotar

The NCAA Football 09 season begins on Tuesday (or earlier, if you have little respect for street dates and a little luck), and if you’re ready to unleash your inner Bo Schembechler, then feel free to check out every playbook for every team in the game, including playbooks for the game’s defensive sets.

The pleasing-to-the-eye playbooks are in PDF format, and they’re pretty good-sized at nearly 25 megabytes a pop. But most playbooks are 60-plus pages in length and they’re laid out exactly the way you’ll see them on screen, so with any luck, you’ll be able to find all your favorite plays quickly after learning the playbook. The game’s developers even added their recommended plays for each formation to give you a start.

EA doesn’t have a page up hosting these yet, but you can access all of them right here after the jump. Now, don’t get nuts with these and turn into those money-play lovin’ “Madden Nation” brats… just get smarter and play smarter, lest you catch some of that ‘ol school spirit right in the grill…

The following playbooks are listed in alphabetical order and include the game’s team-specific and generic playbooks (right-click and select “Save Link As…) to download:

Thanks, I hadn’t seen the Defensive Playbooks as of yet.
